Hexagones

It’s been a long time since I last posted on my blog (moving into a new house left to entire redecoration, then health problems that seriously slowed down my activities and to finish the loss of my dear Pudding and then of my lovely Biscotte…). I thank all the ones of you who inquired about me and were surprised by my absence.
I will try to come back, maybe not as often as I used to and I may not be as regular in answering you kind messages or visiting your blogs, but I sincerely hope you will still find pleasure watching the pictures I will post.
The one I want to show today is the result of my hexagon-mania. I finally decided to gather the different pieces although I had not reached the supposed 52. I thought so many pieces would make the panel too imposing on my wall.
However, I loved making these little pieces of embroidery so much that I have decided to continue and work for 4 other prospective panels, one for each season.
Until I show you the beginning of this new project, I wish you all an excellent week and I am happy to find you all back again.

We have seen recently "L'Art du crime". It's a pity there were only two seasons.

    1. Thanks a lot, Tatyana! Poor Pudding and Biscotte fell ill (cancer and kidney failure), one after the other and they were diagnosed too late unfortunately.
A new pet has recently arrived at home and I will post a few pictures to introduce him.
      Have a nice day! Sandrine

  13. Goodness, what very lovely hexagons, each one has a lot of detail and needs to be studied, beautiful work.

  14. Thank you for the compliment, Sheryl.I sometimes have to curb this fondness for detail because I find it hard to put an end to a work and say to myself 'Now that's enough, don't touch it anymore!'

  16. Thank you for your message of sympathy, Elena. A poor underfed dog from a kennel has now found his place within the family somehow filling the void left by Pudding and Biscotte. I wish you a nice week!
