Last
month was very busy at work and so my projects did not progress significantly. However,
the Autum Sampler is now peopled with other characters and if I manage to keep
the same pace, it should be over before the end of Summer.

Maintenant - Now
The
Cat Calendar has nothing new to unveil as I already posted April’s kitten last
year and so let’s wait until June for the new ones to appear one after the
other. The Christmas edging for the fireplace is at a standstill with not even one more cross stitched but I have just started another series of characters and the weather is so chilly that embroidering winter scenes is not so quirky!
Avant - Before
parcouru…
Another project has been added to the list : the embroidered
squares that are posted every Friday by Lin Pulsion. I started many weeks after
the project was launched and I am trying to catch up gradually with 24 squares
out of the 37 patterns available on the blog. I sometimes feel that I am
working as fast as this snail is moving among the plants of the garden. See you
next month to check the distance I will have run…
Beautiful work! It shows a lot of dedication and love. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your experience around this embroidery, Tatyana. I am not surprised when I read about 5 months' work, this pattern is quite complex! But the result seems up to the expectations and I could read it was very powerful and inspiring for you!
SupprimerA great step forward in your fall picture, I really like the colors of such pictures.
RépondreSupprimerThe small blocks of Lin Pulsion are also really fast, I have now caught up and is up to date. Hard to believe that there are only 12 blocks, then this SAL is already over.
Have a nice week, Martina
Thank you, Martina! The fall embroidery is very colourful and I guess it will be a pleasure to look at it when the grey sky of autumn will start dulling our days. I also enjoy stitching the little squares by Lin Pulsion and even if they are numerous, I never feel bored because they are all so different. Have a nice Easter weekend! Sandrine
SupprimerWow a great progress on your autumn stitching. Ilike it.
RépondreSupprimerThe little blocks from Lin Pulsion are very fast to stitch. I like your colour choice.
Enjoy the day, Manuela
Thank you, Manuela! Yes, the little blocks are faster and easier to stitch than the autumn embroidery and I am happy I started it very early in the year because it is still far from being completed. I wish you a nice Easter weekend! Sandrine
SupprimerYour embroderies are so beautiful, Sandrine!
RépondreSupprimerToday I am crying for Notre-Dame, it is a terrible disaster.
Hugs, Ida
Thank you very much, Ida! The fire in Notre Dame caused invaluable loss for our culture and the world's heritage, and it is really heartrending to know that it will never be the same again. Thank you for your sympathy and my best wishes for this Easter weekend.
SupprimerPerhaps it is now time to create something in memory of Le Cathédral de Notre Dame, a symbol of strength and continuity for the entire world.
RépondreSupprimerYes, David, Notre Dame deserves a nice tribute and I am thinking of a personal way to do it at my very modest level. I am so desperate to belong to the generations that were unable to preserve a heritage that had gone through much more hazardous eras.
SupprimerBeautiful. Very good results, Sandrine!
RépondreSupprimerThank you very much, Ksenia!
Supprimerwe experience with everyone! Very, very sorry for Notre Dame! This is such a value for everyone! I feel sorry for all the French!
RépondreSupprimerThank you for this message of sympathy, Tatyana! It is a terrible loss for everyone and I have mixed feelings of sadness (because a monument that seemed here forever will never be the same again) and anger(because the fire is very much likely due to carelessness)
SupprimerAz őszi sampler nagyon jó! én is szeretném elkészíteni.
RépondreSupprimerThank you Beáta! I remember the beautiful Spring sampler you made last year and if you have the time for it, I am sure the autumn one would also look great in your home!
SupprimerHow exquisite your Autumn sampler is, Sandrine. Those little squares too, are lovely. As as for the little snail slowing inching his way across the Muscari....some things cannot be hurried.
RépondreSupprimerThank you very much, Kim! And you are perfectly right when you say that time is needed for some things. Taking one's time has become so rare nowadays that I feel lucky to have pastimes that require patience. I wish you a blessed Easter weekend!
SupprimerХорошие работы!
RépondreSupprimerПусть медленно,но они продвигаются!
Thank you, Irina!
SupprimerGorgeous embroidery and flowers!
RépondreSupprimerHappy Easter... despite the awful loss!
Joyeuses Pâques!
Thank you very much, Sara and I also send you my best wishes for Easter although the terrible fire in Notre Dame cast a shadow over this year's celebrations.
SupprimerJoyeuses Pâques!
