The 15th of April has arrived very quickly
since the last post on the 15th of March! I have just had the time to put a
little green around the hyacinth and endow it with a few leaves. A light shadow
is visible on the right, may it be the proof that the sun is back? If it
happened to get a little warmer, I will just have the time to give some water
to my flower by next month’s 15th…
Quelques pages de mon album
scrapbooking sur le thème des fleurs avec une photo prise en Hollande au moment
de la floraison des champs de jacinthes. Un régal coloré pour les yeux et odorant
pour les narines avec leur parfum capiteux !
A few pages from my scrapbooking album on
the topic of flowers, with a picture taken in Holland during the full bloom hyacinths season. A
colourful wonder for the eyes and a fragrant delight for the nose!
Замечательная вышивка! Тень справа точно говорит о том, что цветок освещен солнцем! Приятных солнечных дней наяву,Сандрин:)
RépondreSupprimerYes, Irina! The sun is at last shining and warming up the temperatures and not only on the embroidery! I wish you also have better weather!
SupprimerVery beautiful flower it turns out, he has grown up so much. Album with flowers is very interesting.
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Natali! I had a good time both embroidering and scrapbooking the flowers. Have a nice evening!
SupprimerSandrine, what beautiful juicy green leaves appeared at the hyacinth! Practically full flower. I can imagine what a smell !!! If, of course, invented the thread with the smell of flowers;))
RépondreSupprimerBut this is a photo of hyacinths in Holland, is it you yourself photographed? Just a fairy tale, one can not even believe it. I all dream that by May 1 the snowdrops blossom :))) But today we had an ice drift on the river Tom. Spring came:)))
Have a nice week!
Fragrant thread would be such a brilliant invention for flowers or chocolate embroidery for example! Yes, I took the picture of the hyacinths field, that was already 11 years ago if I remember well. I photographed entire fields of tulips and daffodils, and the Kökenhof Garden is just like paradise on Earth! I must try to make a post on it some time. Holland has been my spring destination several times, it is a country that I find particularly beautiful. The weather is getting finer these days and I hope you will also very soon enjoy the first flowers and quickly see the last remnants of winter disappear. Have a nice evening!
SupprimerSandrine, such a beautiful artwork! Hyacinth looks so real as if I can smell it!
SupprimerDo you know, that fragrant threads exist? I have some orange floss with a cytrus smell! (I think it is by Madeira or even DMC...).
Wishing lots of inspiration to you!
Thank you, Elena! After some research I found the threads you are mentioning! I had never heard about them but I must try them as soon as I have the opportunity, that's fabulous! Have a nice evening!

RépondreSupprimerThank you, Sheryl! I love hyacinths because you can grow them at home from December until spring. They bring joyful colours during the winter season and their fragrance is so pleasant! They help us wait the explosion of flowers which starts at the end of March here in Burgundy, but maybe it is earlier for you in Spain. Best wishes! Sandrine
