Réception cette semaine de deux ouvrages qui ne vont pas aider à la maîtrise raisonnée du nombre de projets.

Tout d'abord, des modèles inspirés d'un voyage dans les Cotswolds et la région du Lake District en Angleterre, le tout romantique au possible. L'occasion de redécouvrir Beatrix Potter et son Peter Rabbit qui pourrait bien prendre forme sous l'aiguille très prochainement. 

This week, delivery of two books that will not help for a reasonable and controlled number of projects! 
First a few models inspired after a tour in the Cotswolds and the region of the Lake District in England, as romantic as can be. The occasion to rediscover Beatrix Potter and her Peter Rabbit who could very soon take shape under my needle.

 

Puis, direction l'Afrique du Sud avec Trish Burr et ses méthodes pas à pas de peinture à l'aiguille. L'envie de broder un joli petit oiseau mais mon manque de pratique de ce genre de broderie m'ont encouragée à commander ce livre.

Then, let’s go to South Africa with Trish Burr and her step by step tutorials of needle painting. I feel like embroidering a nice little bird but I need to practise this kind of embroidery, which pushed me to order her book.
