The month of May and its festival of
flowers make the delight of my camera!
This pretty moment of the year is usually
the occasion for a visit to the wonderful village of Apremont-sur-Allier. It is
listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France and it really well deserves its reputation. This medieval style site was renovated
in the interwar years by a rich ironmaster. It is overlooked by a beautiful
castle that opens the doors of its floral park to visitors.
The highlight of the moment is the arbour
covered with sweet-smelling wisteria, white and purple joining at the top of
the vault.
The
other oddity of the park is the Chinese bridge whose vivid red colour enhances
the site. A real little gem!
