Sortie à Paris

Hier fut l'occasion d'une petite sortie à Paris.
Lever à 4h30 pour ne pas manquer le train, donc besoin de recharger les batteries en arrivant (petits yeux qui en témoignent!).

Yesterday I went to Paris.
I got up at 4.30am not to miss the train (tired eyes testify to my early getting up !) . So I had to recharge my batteries on arrival.

Le froid mordant ne m'a pas découragée pour déambuler dans les rues du quartier Montparnasse et faire quelques trouvailles : du travail en perspective...

The biting cold did not dishearten me, I strolled through the streets of Montparnasse and found some interesting goodies for future projects...

  1. Nice to meet you:)
Wonderful shopping! In the book on embroidery, excellent insects, just a glimpse :), and a kitty, this pillowcase, just a princess :)

    1. Thanks a lot. True, the embroidery book on insects and birds is full of interesting patterns. For the kitty pillowcase, I think I will hang it on the wall, it is almost like a painting :) Have a nice evening!

  3. You look wonderful! You will not say that you got up at 4:30 :)) And it's so nice to see you in a Russian kerchief! I love them!
I've never been to Paris, I dream to go there. But I was in Nice and fell in love with her right away!

  4. You are too kind Tatyana! I love this Russian shawl too, I bought it before Christmas on a market from Russian stallholders. These beautiful flowery patterns are rather rare and difficult to find in France. I understand you loved Nice, it is such a beautiful city with its colourful facades and its flower market! Going to Paris is always an adventure, there are so many new things to discover each time. I wish you can make your dream come true and go there one day. Have a nice evening!
