Today I am joining Beverly’s
Pink Saturday (here). As I looked around the house, I noticed that I had enough
pink items to take part for many weeks, and even years!
For the first post I
have chosen to show my pink vintage style radio. I couldn’t resist buying it
last summer and I regularly switch it on in the kitchen while I prepare the
meals. I enjoy listening to titles from the 60s or 70s, or a good old piece of
jazz.

Have a nice weekend!
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Tatyana! I must admit that the radio is a flashy pink that may not be in everyone's tastes, but it matches the kitchen very well. I wish you a nice week.
SupprimerWOW! Wonderful Pinks!Happy Pink Saturday!
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Maristella! Yes, the radio is really girly pink, like a sweet!! Have a nice week!
SupprimerJust looking around me, and remembering the other rooms in the house, I don't think we have any pink at all.
RépondreSupprimerPink is a very peculiar colour that may not be in everyone's tastes, I can understand it.
SupprimerBeautiful little pink radio! The embroidery is lovely!
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Angela! Have a nice week!
SupprimerSandrine, wonderful design, beautiful design!
RépondreSupprimerI love pink color, it is gentle and gives hope :)
Thank you, Tanya! I also love pink and try to be reasonable not to put pink everywhere at home but I cannot hide my taste for this colour.
SupprimerYour little vintage girl cross stitch is very sweet, Sandrine.....and may I say beautiful! What a fun radio and of course as it is pink, I would imagine the songs sounds much sweeter than those which float out of an ordinary run-of-the-mill one.
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Kim! If only the pink radio could select the sweetest songs and hush the usual "soup" that is played most of the time. But unfortunately no, it has the colour of fairy tales but no magic into it :(
SupprimerThe little girl is so cute, i like it with the little rabbit
RépondreSupprimerGreat finish.
Martina
Thank you, Martina! The finish was a difficult moment because I had envisaged a kind of label but I was not satisfied with it. So I undid the whole work but had almost no canvas left around the embroidery. What a headache!
SupprimerUroczy hafcik!!! Serdecznie pozdrawiam:))
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Dorothy! I wish you a nice week!
SupprimerA rádió szuper! A rózsaszín jó és a hímzés kedves!
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Beáta! A lot of people find pink too girly and childish but I love this very happy colour. Have a nice Tuesday!
SupprimerWhat a lovely post, dear Sandrine!
RépondreSupprimerAlmost all the colours are my favourite colours, but if I should choose only one, I think it would be pink. And I like the music from the 60's too. :)
The little girl with the rabbit is very cute. The details are amazing.
Thank yu for sharing!
Thank you, Sara! Listening to some good vintage music is a means to see the world a little more through pink glasses, and it does a lot of good sometimes! Bisous!
SupprimerGracias por aportacion y visita.
RépondreSupprimerte lo agradezco mucho.
