Today is already Saturday and it’s time to come back to Beverly’s Pink Saturday. This time I want to show you a pretty little teapot that fits into the assorted cup and saucer. It stands between two iced cream puffs from patterns by Veronique Enginger. I wish they could turn into real ones to be served with tea this afternoon!

Let’s continue with the pink of my japonica the blossoming of which is spectacular and a real treat for pollen-gathering insects ...

qui eux-mêmes font le régal des oiseaux,
which in their turn are a real treat for the birds ...

which in their turn could be a real treat for Filo if he could fly to catch them…

I will end up with my new project (yes another one, as if I didn’t have enough in the pipeline!) inspired by Karine after a visit on her blog where she was referring to Les Petits Carrés by Lin Pulsion. I found this project so refined that I couldn’t resist starting it last weekend trying to catch up with the 35 square patterns that have already been posted weekly. I don’t think I will be ready with number 47 when the following and last one is released, but it doesn’t matter.

Thank you for your visit and I wish you all a nice weekend!

    1. Oh yes, David, I try to make them happy with food, water and an environment-friendly way of gardening. I was worried when I moved into the house last summer as I couldn't hear any bird singing in the neighboring gardens. Was it due to the drought or to the fact that nobody was feeding them,or to the cats that my dog has chased away, I don't know but they have come back and I hope they will stay for long.

    1. Thank you, Irina! The wonderful bloom will soon have disappeared from the garden, replaced by green leaves. Blooms cannot stay fresh forever, unfortunately, but it will be your turn to enjoy beautiful flowers, Mother Nature is fair! Wishing you a nice week!

    1. Thank you, Martina! I hesitated quite a moment for the choice of the colours for the small squares, I finally opted for something that would suit the inside of my wardrobe doors. I try to find new places for my embroideries, the walls are already full of them! Have a nice week! Sandrine

    1. Merci, Natalia! Sandrine

    1. Thank you, Manuela! The choice of the colours for the Petits Carrés was tricky and depended on the place I would choose for the embroidery when finished. I used two colours that I mix for a third one, but I wish I had an additional shade for some squares. I wish you a nice week! Sandrine
